Main backbone of democracy

 Nigeria is mostly affected by the citizens and this is what most people don't know, Nigeria is a democratic state in which the people are the essential backbone of democracy as they have the power to decide who to rule them, Moreover, The egoistic and selfish nature of the people have blinded them to elect a perfect and reliable leader, Another major problem is in the hand of the electoral committee called the INEC as we have situation of rigging and unfair and false election, this is due to corrupt official in the electoral committee which means the committee are not independent, Free and fair election is a good attribute of democracy, Moreover, the commission in charge of the election now take bribes from the candidate which is another major problem, There is a need for tight security in our polling units.

2023 General election is near, What should be our major focus is "Free and fair election" and 'no form of rigging or cheating' . This can be made possible by tight security in the polling centres and the electoral officials should not accept any form of bribe either should they work hand in hand with any candidate. The voting of the masses will determine how the country will be in the next 4 years, So I implore the people to vote the right candidate and not take to fake political promises...
